How it works
Health assessments take a little longer than a standard visit because they're comprehensive — and they're bulk billed.
Reception confirms which assessment you qualify for and books the right appointment.
Your GP reviews your health in detail and orders any tests or screening.
You get a summary, any referrals and a follow-up plan tailored to the findings.
What's included
A health assessment is more than a quick check — it reviews every aspect of your wellbeing and sets up the care you need.

Blood pressure, weight, BMI and other key measurements recorded and tracked.
Blood tests, urine tests and other screening appropriate to your age.
Sensory checks, especially important for children and older adults.
A review of all your medicines to keep them safe and effective.
Assessments flow into GP Management Plans and referrals where needed.
